Tiny Tails n Whiskers Policies

Client Policies & Service Rules

Vaccinations: Required for all pets to be up-to-date on vaccinations.

Aggression Policy: We refuse service for pet(s) with a history of biting or severe aggression.

Service Windows: Our weekly midday dog walks occur from 11am - 2pm. Pet Sitting visits are as follows, morning visits from 8am-10am, late afternoon from 2-4pm and night visits from 6-8pm.

No Socialization: We strictly avoid dog parks or allowing strangers to pet our client dog(s) during walks.

Safety Gear: No leash - No walk, as per Pinellas county dog ordinance. All pups are required to have a leash and a collar/harness provided by the client.

Payment & Cancellation Policies

Pre-Payment: Require full payment at the time of booking or before the first visit.

Cancellation Fee:

  • Bookings canceled same-day are charged 100%.

  • Cancellations made 48hrs prior are credited back to client

  • Holiday cancellations must be made at least 72hrs ahead of 1st booked visit to qualify for refund/credit back

Holiday Fees: $10 per visit surcharges for services during holidays.

  • New Year's day, Valentine's night, St. Patricks day, Easter, Memorial day weekend (sat-mon), 4th of July, Labor day weekend (sat-mon), Halloween night, Thanksgiving weekend (thurs-sun), Christmas eve, Christmas day, New Year's eve.

Last-Minute Fees: $5 extra charge for bookings made with less than 24 hours' notice - when/if pet sitter is available

Emergency & Safety Policies

Veterinary Release: Please provide a signed form authorizing the Tiny Tails n Whiskers pet sitter to seek veterinary care and outlining payment responsibility.

Inclement Weather: In case of extreme weather clients will be contacted and visits will be planned or cancelled accordingly (e.g., shortening walks, providing potty breaks only).

Pet Injury/Illness: In the event a pet is hurt, the owner will be notified immediately through text/phone call and sitter will follow protocol for taking pets to a vet.

Home & Property Policies

Key Policy: Use secure, tested key lockboxes on the property, not hidden keys.

Camera Disclosure: We as that clients please disclose all home surveillance that will be in use during their time away

Third-Party Access: In the event (cleaners, friends, family) are present during or after visits, Tiny Tails n Whiskers LLC may not be held liable for incidents that may occur when others are interfering with the care of your pets. In addition distractions from other people can hinder our ability to perform our job effectively
